• TGIF! With the first week of school under our belts, the weekend can’t come soon enough. After figuring out how to make umpteen binders fit in one backpack without busting the seams, working out the kinks in an illogical bus route and filling out all that bloody paperwork, I’m ready to head back to the beach and pretend that it’s still summer vacation! No one ever said navigating the long and winding road of parenthood would be easy, but wouldn’t it be nice if you had some sort of road map to get you over some of those bumps all the way? Since that won’t be happening anytime soon, we think we’ve found a handy ‘cheat sheet’ of sorts that can cover some of that ground. Hang in There! card decks contain helpful tips and words of wisdom culled from a school psychologist and pediatrician who know a thing or two about what it’s like to parent. Each portable deck features targeted, age-graded advice to take you from the newborn days of why your baby won’t stop crying, to the teen years of how to help your school-age kid get more organized (or simply find her missing notebook). We like that the digestible, nugget-sized info is as easy to thumb through as it is to transport, whether you clip the deck to a diaper bag, backpack or even your brain (just kidding). All joking aside, a new school year often brings tremendous stress for kids and parents alike. If your child is starting daycare, kindergarten or even high school this month, Hang in There! cards may help get you through those less-than-mellow moments…so  you can lick your wounds and get ready to start all over again on Monday.

In a Nutshell: This is one deck of cards that deals out parenting advice to give you a winning hand for those tough-to-swallow moments.
