• a dress to remember

What woman hasn’t had a love affair with a dress? When I was in college, a blue sequin tank dress from Bloomingdale’s that had been marked down to a mere $9.98 made me the belle of the ball (at least in my mind). When I got married, I had my eye on an elegant gown from Priscilla of Boston, and after locating a local dress shop that carried this cream puff of a dress, I was in pure heaven. Fast forward to my younger daughter’s christening, and it was a dress at an end-of-season sale in Newport, R.I., that caught my eye. These days, I am more prone to splurging on clothing for my girls than myself, selfless mom that I am…or maybe it’s just more satisfying since I don’t have to squeeze into anything. Nevertheless, I have cultivated an eye for the finer things in life, and special occasions call for special attire. Maybe that’s why the christening dresses from Martinek Bebe are so special. Each one is handcrafted and designed, and go from the simply elegant to the more lavish. Fashioned from silk and batise cotton, these gowns are as extraordinary on the hanger as they will be on your baby.

In a Nutshell: A true keepsake to treasure on your baby’s special day, these christening dresses are simply divine.
