Ah, it’s the most wonderful time of the year…for parents, that is! The start of a new school year may not be your kid’s greatest wish come true, but we parents treasure it. And that’s not necessarily for the reason you might think. Truthfully, I’ve always envied my girls’ ability to start fresh each September; the beginning of a new school year holds so much promise that it’s almost like shedding off your old skin and making room to don a reinvigorated person. And what better excuse is there to mark the occasion than with some new clothes! We’ve been keeping a lookout for new styles this season and came across a line that is perfect for that first day. If this happens to be your child’s first day of kindergarten or preschool, be sure to check out the fall/winter collection from JoJo Maman Bebe. This British import of babies and kids’ clothing (newborn-age 6) is what children’s wear is meant to look like. Remember when dressing like a little kid actually meant looking like you were a kid? This assortment of adorable knits, dresses, toggle coats and more not only looks oh-so-cute, but the quality is top notch. We can’t decide between the fair isle cardigan and dress ensemble (perfect for picture day), or the playful mouse jumper with matching mittens (from playground to playdate). So, if your kids are in the market for new clothes this season, this is one collection that they’ll wear willing, again and again.
In a Nutshell: Clothes may make the man, but they also do well for the well-dressed kiddo. Head back to school with an ensemble that gets an A+ in this mom’s book.
