    When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I knew I wanted an old-fashioned pram in which to parade my new little love around town. By the time my second daughter arrived on the scene, I had grown weary of the neutral-colored baby gear I had acquired along the way.     I am one hot mama…at least it says so on my cellphone. (And no, I did not program it myself!). One of my favorite things to observe about moms these days is not how long it takes for them to acknowledge their child’s incessant pleas, but more innocently, what they are wearing. Did motherhood mean sacrificing their sense of fashion altogether, or can you see little glimmers of the Woman Before the Kids shining through?     It’s too soon to start planning for Kate Middleton’s baby shower–her wedding day isn’t even here just yet–but it’s certainly fun to imagine her as mum-to-be some day. No doubt her baby’s nursery will be outfitted in royal finery, and her bundle of joy clothed in the lushest, most soft fabrics.
