    Two weeks into January, and the winter weather has covered everything from an ice storm and subzero temps, to an unseasonal tempest that hints of an early spring.     From what I’ve been hearing from my mom friends, it won’t be long before my 9-year-old is begging for a sleepover party. We’ve managed to successfully avoid this topic, and frankly, I’m just not ready for all the drama that comes along with it. While I don’t miss those long-ago 3 a.m. feedings, I sometimes can’t help long for the sight of that sweet little soul, so peaceful as she lay fast asleep in her crib back in the day.     I’m not sure why I remember the odd things that I do from being a new mom, but one particular memory stands out: my daughter’s nursery being littered with formula-stained bottles that I had forgotten to put in the dishwasher. It didn’t happen every day, mind you, but every so often, I would finish an early morning feeding and return to my bedroom in a half-asleep stupor with the bottle left behind (it’s a wonder I remembered to turn out the light in the nursery!).
