As the school year winds down, that can only mean one thing…No, not you pulling your hair out because the kids are driving you crazy (already!). It”s time for that annual rite of passage: the family vacation. While gas prices aren’t anything to sneeze at, lots of people I know are still planning on hitting the road with the whole gang at some point this season. Some will be taking longer car rides across state lines, while others are looking into a few long weekend trips. If your car is anything like ours, fitting two kids in the backseat, let alone a third child, doesn’t allow much wiggle room–or rooms for all those travel toys. That’s why we are loving the Bubble Bum booster seat. [&hellip

On Day 2 of a super soaker rainy stretch, it’s hard to imagine we’ll soon be trading in this wet spring for sweltering heat. In my family, the hot summer sun is nothing to scoff at; my girls have unfortunately inherited my fair complexion and I make a point of slathering them in sunscreen so much that the sun’s damaging rays don’t stand a chance. Of course, when my little ladies aren’t under my wing and it’s time to re-apply the lotion, it helps to have a way to make this chore both convenient and not so involved, especially for kids. Sunbow Sunscreen Sun Sticks are handy, portable sticks that stow away easily in camp backpacks. Not only do they offer optimal protection with an [&hellip

When I was growing up, all my gal pals signed up for sleep-away camp (my mom’s idea of camp was daily trips to the beach and, if it rained, the library). I could never count on my friends to write to me during the summer; they were probably too busy making macrame potholders and learning how to cannonball correctly, anyway. When it comes to communicating, today’s kids, of course, have it much easier; with a few simple clicks, they can fire off a text and a photo of how they’ve decorated their bunk faster than they can write “Wish you were here.” Still, it’s always nice to receive a piece of “real” mail every now and then, and a new stationery line from oh my [&hellip

It’s too soon to start planning for Kate Middleton’s baby shower–her wedding day isn’t even here just yet–but it’s certainly fun to imagine her as mum-to-be some day. No doubt her baby’s nursery will be outfitted in royal finery, and her bundle of joy clothed in the lushest, most soft fabrics. But something tells me that when it’s time to step out with the future prince (or princess), the future Queen of England will be doing so in style. If we could be so bold as to suggest a couple of our favorite baby products, we’d put these on her baby shower wish list. To help navigate those London city streets with a little one, the Cybex Callisto is the way to go. This highly [&hellip

Spring has finally sprung, and that can only mean one thing. No, not your allergies. We’re talkin’ bikes. If you have a toddler with an older sibling, you know how much your little one wants to be just like her big brother or sister. In our house, my little one tells me, “I’m not your baby anymore; I’m a big girl.” (Don’t worry about hurt feelings; I’ve developed a thick skin by now.) But I digress…when we dusted off our two-wheelers this weekend, wouldn’t you know the little one wanted to ride her bike, too? Because it’s no shocker that kids seem to be growing up faster these days, we think the Smart-Trike will truly hit its stride with precocious preschoolers everywhere. This versatile ride-on, [&hellip

Schlepping all your kid’s gear around can make you feel more like a mule than a mom. From diaper bags to sports bags, it feels like we are forever indebted to our children (shouldn’t it be the other way around?). Perhaps this visual was the inspiration behind the latest Bugaboo stroller. Aptly named the Bugaboo Donkey, this is one vehicle that aims to keep up with the demands of an on-the-go mother of multiples. With three simple clicks, this convertible stroller goes from a full-sized model for one child, to a side-by-side stroller that accommodates two, to a mono stroller yet again. No matter if you’re out grocery shopping with only your toddler and later taking a walk in the great outdoors with both kids, [&hellip

When I hear my daughter utter those famous words, “I have to go to the bath-rooommm,” I cringe. Even though she’s been potty-trained for a few years now, I absolutely dread having to visit public restrooms (and what mother doesn’t)? Forget the fact that they’re filthy, smelly and always crowded; my 6-year-old still holds on to the sides of the toilet bowl no matter how often I remind her to keep her hands to herself. If you’re a mom like me who finds herself in this type of situation more times than she’d like to, you may appreciate gLovies. Aiming to keep germs at bay, these disposable hand covers are perfect for slipping on when making a pit-stop. I was never a big fan of [&hellip

Back strain can bring you down–literally and figuratively. Every spring, I make a point of cleaning out my purse to minimize the droop in my already-slouched shoulders. That’s what years of schlepping around a textbook-laden backpack will to do you. And those diaper bag years haven’t exactly helped matters either. To make whatever bag you’re lugging around town a little less cumbersome, Go GaGa’s Urban Sherpa Strap may just be your new best friend. Even if you don’t want to part with your favorite diaper bag, purse or laptop case, you can still use it by updating it with a strap that evenly distributes the bulk across your back and shoulders. Just remove the current strap and clip the Urban Sherpa one onto the metal [&hellip

When my husband and I took our young daughters on our annual summer vacation, there wasn’t a single piece of baby gear that we left behind: portable high chair, Pack ‘n Play, stroller, ExerSaucer…we were a regular traveling circus of kiddie equipment. There was, however, one item we just couldn’t bring along, and one that caused me more anxiety than it should have. Trying to bathe a young baby in a standard bath is like trying to dress a cat in doll clothes: cute idea, but they just don’t fit right. Keeping my little one upright with one slippery hand became a Herculean feat that I didn’t care to repeat day after day. Believe me when I say this was no vacation at the beach! [&hellip
