Swaddling my daughters was something I never did quite right. While I consulted the Web and tried to follow instructions on how to create a ‘baby burrito’, it just didn’t seem to be working…seeing how they were still crying! TrueWomb is one product that aims to banish that insecurity for new moms by making swaddling as easy as 1-2-3. This sleep system is made up of different parts: the SwaddleTech Pouch, which lets a baby’s legs assume a fetal position when they’re at rest; a SecureSleeve that keeps her arms in place; and a ComfortWrap belt to keep her completely secure. Note: TrueWomb may take some getting used to, but before you know it, you’ll feel like you could swaddle your baby in your sleep. [&hellip

When my younger daughter was a newborn, a pacifier was her best friend–and mine. Because she only seemed content when it was feeding time, I was desperate to find some way to comfort her (and my ears). Self-soothing was a lesson not easily taught, I quickly learned, and I wasn’t so keen on the idea of giving her a pacifier. (My older daughter hadn’t needed one, so it seemed to indicate some sign of failure on my part as a mother…yes, I was terribly hard on myself.) Today, I would have banished that mommy guilt in a flash if I’d had the MAM Perfect Pacifier on hand. This is the slimmest, most sleek pacifier around, with a nipple that’s only .09 inches thick. If you’re [&hellip

When my now-teenage niece was a baby, my sister had a baby monitor that picked up  more gossip from her neighbor’s house than baby cries. After her second daughter was born, that monitor was replaced with a more updated model that detected every movement and sigh from her little one. My, how far we’ve come! Today’s baby monitors have built-in webcams and can work up to  hundreds of feet away from the nursery. If you’re looking for a top-of-the-line model with all the bells and whistles you can dream up, then check out Mobicam Digital. It works with up to 3 cameras and boasts powerful nighttime vision–almost as good as your cat’s–for up to 30 feet. For the extra vigilant parent, there’s wide angle viewing, [&hellip

If I had a dime for every time I heard about a kid product that claims to “grow with your child,” I’d be a self-made millionaire. So when a product lives up to its name, it warrants a bit of praise. Hats off then to the HiLo Chair, one seat that’s worth saving. Not only is this kids’ chair nice to look at, but it works wonders in the kitchen. It starts out as standard high chair with tray, but because it has a dual-height adjustment, you can flip the chair upside down and, at the push of a button, the chair locks into place at its new height/size. That means you can count on using this sturdy chair from mushy peas on up to [&hellip

My husband wouldn’t be caught dead sporting a diaper bag; it’s enough that he remembers to grab a sippy cup when heading out the door with the kids (I don’t expect miracles, you know…). But if he were to acquiesce and tote a bag, it would most certainly be an Alpha Sherpa. Call it the Cadillac (insert favorite sports car here) of diaper bags, this model truly has it all. The cooler component has ample, protective pockets for storing bottles and cold snacks (yup, even his Pepsi One). Technology-savvy dads will relish the storage sections designated for a laptop, MP3 player and any other “daddy gear” they must have at their disposal. Not forgetting the purpose of this bag, the Alpha Sherpa has plenty of [&hellip

I was never a Girl Scout myself, but I’ve heard enough Boy Scout stories from my husband to have the “be prepared” motto firmly etched in my brain. It’s one adage that is fitting for motherhood, at least in my experience. While I’m finally realizing that you can’t possibly foresee accident waiting to happen–it only took me 6 years!–it does help to do all you can in advance. That goes from welcoming a new baby, to planning a kids’ birthday party and all the moments in between. And getting around town with a baby? That’s one daily “adventure” that begs to be simplified, and the new B-READY modular stroller is one that fits the bill. At first glance, this stroller may appear to be like [&hellip
