Picking out clothes for my kids is a blast (so much more fun than shopping for myself). There are no shortage of fashionable options at reasonable prices, and of course, I always like to splurge on a big-ticket item every now and then. Some moms may think I’m lucky because I’m shopping for girls (to them I say, get back to me in a few years and we’ll see who’s having fun now!). Even while I’m out and about, I like to check out what’s hot in boys and truthfully, I don’t see as much style and variety as there could be. That’s all about to change, thanks to the just-launched King of Harts. A clothing line with celebrity cache attached to it, it’s the brainchild of Melissa Joan Hart and her husband who couldn’t find the type of clothes they were looking for to dress their own family of boys. Their Spring 2015 collection speaks to the cool, yet casual kid who likes to look good, even if it means plunking down some extra bucks. What we love about this rough-and-tumble line is its versatility; be it a soft chambray shirt that looks and feel lived in, or a stand-up-and-take-notice military jacket, each item looks as good at school as it does on the beach. Frankly, I’m a bit jealous of these dapper duds. Hey Melissa, if you’re thinking of expanding your family, hope the next one is a girl!
