How much do you love your pooch? Friends of mine who are proud dog owners sometimes gush about their pet as though he were one of their children (hey, in some ways, pets are easier than kids: they eat whatever you put in front of them and love you unconditionally!) Well, if you’re one of those dog lovers, then consider giving your best bud his 15 minutes by entering him in Gund’s Top Dog contest. Between now and August 5, 2012, Gund invites you to submit photos of your canine companion in one or more of the following categories: most beautiful dog, ugliest dog, “doganista”/best-dressed dog and dog that resembles its owner. The winning entries will earn a limited edition-plush in the prized pooches’ likeness. Voting will take place from August 6-15, and the lucky winners will be announced the week of August 27th.
